We had the 67th regular meeting on June 12, Saturday.

First, the induction ceremony for two new members was held.

Now , we have 14 membership and got 5 points of DCP (Distinguished Club Program) points. Wow!!

まず初めに２人の新入会員の入会式！トーストマスターズ年度の最終月となる6月に会員数が14人となり、いくつかの教育賞も滑り込みでゲットして、DCP（優秀クラブ）ポイントも5ポイント取得することができた。バンザイ！！

Division Director, TM M and Ms. Y from Nigeria attended the meeting as guests. Online meetings enable us to have guests from all over the world. How nice it is!

ゲストは、Division H DirectorのMさんと、ナイジェリアから初めて参加されたYさんのお二人。Yさんは、トーストマスターズを検索して、出身地が大分なので見学クラブに選んでくれたということで感激した！オンライン例会では、世界を本当に身近に感じる。

Prepared speeches were as follows:

①     「若い時に買うものは」（TM N）

②     Can you find “social and solidarity economy” example in your area?　（TM T）

③     “What would you do?” (TM O)

   Table Topics Master TM K gave us interesting and instructive questions.

"How to learn English" and "How to use smartphone effectively ".

Kさんによるテーブルトピックスは,「英語をマスターする方法について」（英語）と「スマホについて」（日本語）で、とても役立つ内容やユニークな楽しい内容の即興スピーチを聞くことができた。

   We have finished all the meetings in the Toastmaster year of 2020-21.

Thank you for your great cooperation, the members who took double or triple roles in the meetings and fantastic guests!

少ない人数の中で、ダブル、トリプルロールを担当して、がんばって例会を盛り上げてくれたメンバーやゲストの皆さんのご協力に、心から感謝します。

The 66th regular meeting (online)was held on May 8,Saturday.

Eight members including one listening member attended it with two guests from Kagoshima TMC and Shimonoseki TMC.

Prepared speeches were as follows.

①TM N ”Ojigi o suru koto”( Japanese speech)

②TM A ”My life journey and Kuleana” (Icebreaker speech)

③TM T ”Five things we can do to speak logically”

Three speeches were very informative and profound.

It was also great fun listening to interesting Table Topics speeches.

TM C from Kagoshima TMC won the best evaluator award and the best Table topics speech award. Congratulations!!

We had an online meeting on March 13th.

Thirteen people including two new members, Area Director and three guests enjoyed the meeting.

TM T and TM Y made their brilliant speech performances.

Especially, the audience was really impressed by a new member, TM Y's ice breaker speech.

A Japanese speech was made by a guest who is a member of Toastmasters Club in Kansai Area.

She practiced her speech for the Area Contest and other members gave her a lot of feedback!

The next meeting will be held on April 10, Saturday.

Oita Toastmasters Club welcomed two brilliant new members on February 13th..! How exciting is it? I can't believe how fast we are growing! The credit goes to our president TM Nakajima, TM Kimura, and others! Their dedication to the club is just so astonishing! Congratulations, Oita Toastmasters! Cheers to more fun and exciting meetings to come!

We had an open house meeting on Saturday, January 9th. It was successfully done with the attendance of 20 guests! 

TM Kimochi, a freelance Rakugo performer, did a Rakugo storytelling performance and a speech workshop! We enjoyed both of them to the fullest! Thank you, TM Kimochi! 

We received a lot of favorable comments from guests! We hope that we can welcome them again in our future meetings!

For Oita Toastmasters Club, every club meeting is an open house meeting! We welcome guests always! The next meeting is on Saturday February 13th. Please join us!

Oita Toastmasters Club will host a virtual Open House on Saturday, January 9th from 6:30pm – 8:30pm. Join us for this free!

We had the second hybrid meeting on December 12.

Three members attended onsite and seven attended online.

The meeting proceeded smoothly and enjoyed every speech with a friendly

atmosphere.

We had a very enjoyable online party in commemoration of our 5th anniversary! A lot of people, including founders and contributors of the Oita Toastmasters club kindly joined the party as guests to celebrate with us. We enjoyed having conversation about our club's history.

We had an on-line joint meeting with Kurume Toastmasters Club on August 8th, Saturday.

Twenty-five people including eleven guests attended it and we had a very enjoyable and fruitful time.
