Oita Toastmasters Club is the first toastmasters club founded in Oita City.
The objective of Oita Toastmasters Club is to improve a communication skill
(speech, presentation, English conversation) and a leadership skill through the practice of speeches in Japanese and English.
We hold a regular meeting once a month in HorutoHall Oita (in front of JR Oita station). The first half is a Japanese session and the second half is a English session.
Like a typical toastmasters club, we don't have instructor; instead, each speech and meeting is critiqued by a member in a positive manner, focusing on what was done right and what could be
improved.
